Hans Lang and Marianne Kempf, both Certified Master Chefs from Germany, established the Gala Restaurant in 2002 after 14 years at the helm of the kitchen at the award winning Windows Restaurant at the Burswood Resort.

The name “The Gala” was inspired by Salvatore Dali, who illustrated a cookbook with brush and paint in his unique way. The book is called Dinners with Gala.
