El Asador was founded in March 2010, by Emily DeLeuil and Maximiliano Pineiro, after the pair travelled to Max’s homeland Argentina and developed a mutual love of Argentinean food and culture. So with this shared passion and much hard work, El Asador was born.
El Asador translates in English as ‘the barbecuer’.
El Asador launched at the 2010 Araluen Fremantle Chilli Festival with a range of Chimichurri. Within months, this range won two awards at the 2010 Perth Royal Show.
