We have some new products on-line from Margaret River Tempeh (Mister tempeh tofu)!

Tempeh is a tofu-like product but less processed so it contains more protein and fiber than tofu. Also, because tempeh is a fermented product, the bean enzymes are partially broken down, making it easier to metabolise.

Search ‘tempeh’ in our shop to see the range currently available:

Paul is heading down to Margaret River this weekend to pick up stock, which means three things:

1. There is a box on the way! As with every box, we spend a lot of time curating the best combination of products we can find. We will announce the final as soon as possible, hold tight!

2. The Osborne Park Locastore will be closed tomorrow. If you had planned to come in please leave a comment or email now and we’ll arrange free delivery.

3. Paul will be hitting as many food producers as possible while he’s down there – the itinerary will hopefully include Cape Kitchen, Pepi cafe, The Pour House, Dunsborough, Vasse Markets, Gabriel Chocolate Yallingup, Bettenays Margaret River Nougat Company, Margaret River Farmers Market, The Larder Margaret River, The Farm House Margaret River and Must Margaret River . Please leave a comment if you have any tips on producers Paul should meet :)

Have a great weekend everybody!

Ever wondered why there is a little green spokes-bird on our homepage?

That’s Brutus, the Western Ground Parrot, unique to Western Australia and one of the rarest birds in the world – there are less than 110 remaining worldwide.

On 14 May the Western Ground Parrot was listed as CRITICALLY ENDANGERED under federal Australian legislation. This is great news for the Friends of the Western Ground Parrot and hopefully will lead to a breeding program to be established in addition to the ongoing recovery plan.
